   Target Groups   

The project is addressed to:

Pre-service secondary school teachers


They receive a new syllabus as part of their initial teacher training, which will equip them with a functional STEAM approach and a gender perspective.

Secondary School Teachers


Science, math, and technology teachers receive online materials, including crucial assessment tools, to help them incorporate Computational Thinking (CT) into their STEM subjects.

University Teachers


They are provided with new guidelines and resources to effectively train the next generation of secondary school teachers in computational thinking and a gender-inclusive STEAM approach.

   Results   

For the purpose the project will develop and make accessible the following deliverables

A framework of teaching competences
For the inclusion of computational thinking in the pre-service secondary school teacher education programmes of STEM subjects
Three
microcredentials
For pre-service secondary school teachers, featuring three short modules (1 ECTS each) that can be integrated into existing curricula.
On-line
Accompanying Tools
For teacher trainers and in-service teachers, containing teaching sequences, student assessment tools, and professional development materials.
